Changing your plan
Open your PDS's Subscription page to change your blob and data quota. You will be able to see what the quota change will cost you now, and what your new subscription payment will be before you apply it.
Data quota changes
The data quota encompasses the PDS database and the user repositories. This tends to grow relative to user activity.
Growing
Growing your data quota is an immediate action, and requires no downtime at all.
Shrinking
Shrinking your data quota comes with a few limitations:
1: You can not shrink your quota below your current usage plus a little safety margin 2: Shrinking your quota will require your PDS to be stopped, the data copied, and the PDS to be started again. Downtime depends on how much data is there.
Blob quota changes
The blob quota is all the media that users can upload; images, videos, or really anything that does not go into the account repository.
Growing
Growing your blob quota is an immediate action, and requires no downtime at all.
Shrinking
The same applies here as for the data quota, you can't shrink below your current usage plus a safety margin. However, it takes effect immediately and requires no PDS downtime.
Cooldown
After a quota change, you will have to wait at least 24 hours before you are allowed to make another change, so choose wisely.
Package changes
At the moment, you won't be able to change your package, but this is on the roadmap.
