Managing accounts
The Accounts tab lists every account on your PDS. Click one to see its details: handle, email, status, storage use and any moderation labels.
Actions
- Reset password: email the account a reset link, or set a new password yourself.
- Take down: suspend an account that breaks your rules. Its content stops being served until you restore it.
- Restore: undo a takedown.
- Delete: remove the account and its data for good. This can't be undone.
Every action is recorded in the Audit log.
Blob management
You can see each users uploaded blobs by opening the user detail (click the user row) and then clicking the 'View blobs' button. The blob management page has several tabs:
- Active: blobs that are active, and referenced by a record.
- Quarantined: blobs that got quarantined (potential illegal material, other objectionable stuff)
- Missing: blobs that are recorded in the users' repository, but are actually missing from the blob store
You can hover over the "Preview" link to see a preview for images.
Blob detail
Clicking a blob row will open it's detail page, showing all information we know about it. This is also where you can Quarantine a blob - this will stop it from being served; this is mainly used to disable access to objectionable or illegal content. peedee.es admins can also do this, at which point only a peedee.es admin can un-quarantine the blob. See also our content scanning page.
Records
The View records button under Account shows everything in that account's repository, read straight from your PDS. On the left are its collections (posts, likes, follows, its profile and any other record types), grouped by the app that defines them: bsky.app holds the Bluesky ones, for example. Pick one to list its records on the right, newest first, 20 at a time; Older at the bottom pages back in time. Each row shows the record's key, when it was created and how many labels your labelers have put on it.
Clicking a record opens its detail page: the record's content as a tree you can fold open and shut (or as plain JSON), its details, and the labels currently on it. This page is for looking only - a record belongs to the account that wrote it, so there's nothing to change here. If something needs to go, take down the account or quarantine the blob it uses.
