By default, for all interactions with the frontend on peedee.es, or the PDS, the following information is recorded:
This information is stored on disk, in log files, for a maximum of 3 days before they are deleted automatically.
The PDS will store various bits of information you must supply in order for the service to actually work, such as a handle, and e-mail address. Your e-mail address may be shared with Fastmail in order to send e-mail verification emails. Your e-mail address is not public.
As this service is hosted in the EU, a best effort is made to be GDPR compliant. This means that at the very least, you have the right to request all information about you, and that you may also request deletion of all your information at any time, in addition to the other rights granted to you by the GDPR.
The administrators of peedee.es have complete access to all data stored on the PDS, but this access will not be used unless it’s required to solve a problem with the service, or in case of legal requirements.
Please note that ATproto is (for now) an open protocol; this means that any information published by you (posts, profile picture, profile text, images, etc.) is public and should be treated as such. If you aren’t comfortable with a total stranger knowing things about you, then ATproto is probably not the best solution for you.
